Zeaxanthin is one of the most common carotenoids in nature and is used in the xanthophyll cycle.It is a pigment synthesized by plants and some microorganisms, and is the pigment of chili peppers, corn, marigolds, goji berries and many other plants and microorganisms that have their characteristic colors. Zeaxanthin is a substance found in the retina of the eye and an important part of the eye.
