Product Description

Doxycycline hydrochloride is a light blue or yellow crystalline powder. It is odorless, bitter, hygroscopic, easily soluble in water.This product has a broad antibiotic spectrum and is effective against Gram-positive cocci and negative bacilli. The antibiotic effect is about 10 times stronger than tetracycline, and it is still effective against tetracycline-resistant bacteria. Mainly used for respiratory tract infections, chronic bronchitis, pneumonia and urinary tract infections, etc., but also for macula, typhoid fever, and mycoplasma pneumonia.

Functions

The antibiotic spectrum is basically the same as tetracycline and oxytetracycline, and the antibacterial activity in vivo and in vitro is stronger than that of tetracycline. Microorganisms have close cross-resistance to tetracycline, oxytetracycline, etc.

Mainly used for upper respiratory tract infection, tonsillitis, biliary tract infection, lymphadenitis, cellulitis, chronic bronchitis caused by sensitive Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacilli, etc.

 

It is also used to treat typhus, chlamydia, mycoplasma pneumonia, etc. It can still be used to treat cholera, but also to prevent falciparum malaria and leptospirosis infection.
