Tea saponin from theaceae (Theaceac) plants (such as tea, camellia) type of saponins extracted compounds, seven ligands (C30H6O6) a (Sapgening), four kinds of glycoside (Aglyevn) and two kinds of organic acid constitute a pentacyclic triterpene tea saponin, at the same time is a kind of pure natural non-ionic surface active agent, molecular in sugar body of hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups.Therefore, it has emulsification, dispersion, wetting, decontamination, foaming, foam and other surface activities, especially has a very strong foaming ability, and the foam produced is stable, not affected by the water hardness.In addition, it also has significant effects such as expectorant, anti-inflammatory, cough relieving, analgesic, anti-osmosis, sterilization, insect killing, hemolysis, fish poison, alcohol absorption inhibition, snail killing and plant growth promotion, etc., so it is widely used in daily chemical industry, pesticide, medicine, food and building materials, metallurgy and metal material processing and many other fields.

Function

1.Surface activity: Tea saponin is a kind of natural surfactant with excellent properties because of its various surface activities, such as emulsifying, dispersing, wetting, foaming and stabilizing

2.Biological activity:

(1)Hemolysis Tea saponin has toxic effect on fish but has no toxic effect on prawn.

(2)Fish toxicity Tea saponin is highly toxic to fish, even at a very low concentration, it is also toxic, with a half-lethal dose of 3.8mg/L.

1. Agricultural applications
