Anidulafungin is an echinocandin antifungal drug. It is used to treat esophageal candidiasis, candidemia and other kinds of Candida infections, including peritonitis and abdominal abscess. Studies have confirmed that it has strong antifungal activity in vivo and in vitro, and there is no cross-drug resistance.

 

 

Functions

1.Anidulafungin is a semi-synthetic cyclic lipopeptide belonging to the echinocandin class. Anidulafungin inhibits the synthesis of β-(1,3)-D-glucan, an essential component of the cell wall of susceptible fungi and is extensively referenced in the literature with over 400 citations.
2.Nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) for HIV treatment in adults.
