Salvianic acid A is a natural polyphenolic compound found in the roots of Salvia miltiorrhiza, also known as red sage or Danshen. It is a member of the salvianolic acid family, which includes other compounds such as salvianolic acid B, salvianolic acid C, and salvianolic acid D.

Functions
