Bilirubin belongs to a kind of bile pigment in the dimethyl cyanine bile pigment. It is a reddish-brown pigment body, insoluble in
water, hardly soluble in alcohol, ether, and easily soluble in alkali. The maximum absorption is 432 nanometers (in alkali), 540
nanometers (In chloroform). Humans and carnivores are rich in bile. There are two types of blood bilirubin in the red-purple
Hijman van den Bergh reaction with the addition of diazonium reagents: one is the direct type that is positive without the
addition of alcohol, and the other is the addition of alcohol. Indirect type of color rendering.
