Description:
Quercetin is a potent antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory activity, protecting cellular structures and blood vessels from the damaging effects of free radicals. It improves blood vessel strength. Quercetin inhibits the activity of catechol-O-methyltransferase that breaks down the neurotransmitter norepinephrine. This effect may lead to elevated levels of norepinephrine and an increase in energy expenditure and fat oxidation. It also means quercetin acts as an antihistamine leading to relief of allergies and asthma. As an antioxidant, it reduces LDL cholesterol and offers protection from heart disease. Quercetin blocks an enzyme that leads to accumulation of sorbitol, which has been linked to nerve, eye, and kidney damage in diabetics.
Function:
It has good expectorant, cough effect, and some asthma, for the treatment of chronic bronchitis.
It can lower blood pressure, fragility, blood fat, expanse coronary artery, and increase capillary resistance coronary blood flow, and other effects on the coronary heart disease and hypertension role of adjuvant therapy.

Quercetin is pentahydroxyflavone achieved from rutin which is hydrolyzed by dilute . 
This product has functions of eliminating phlegm, relieving cough and a certain degree of relieving 
asthma. Meanwhile, it can reduce blood pressure, strengthen capillaries, decrease capillary fragility, 
reduce blood lipid, dilate coronary artery, increase blood flow of coronary artery etc. It is used for the 
treatment of chronic bronchitis, and the adjuvant therapy of coronary heart disease and hypertension.
